Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of an iPhone Air. It powers the device and determines how long it lasts between two charges. A battery that drains too quickly, overheats abnormally or no longer holds its charge is the usual sign that it needs replacing.
Before you begin, switch off the iPhone completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver and a clean, well-lit workspace. Disconnect the battery before touching any flex cables, and avoid electrostatic discharge by keeping away from sensitive areas. A lithium battery must never be punctured, bent or crushed, and a swollen battery must no longer be used.
After fitting, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery balance. Then check that the device starts, that charging proceeds normally and that it does not overheat excessively. If anything seems abnormal, stop using the device and disconnect the battery immediately.
