Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of an iPhone SE (2020) whose runtime has dropped or which no longer holds a charge. It powers the device and must be fitted in place of the current part, observing the correct fitting orientation.
The most common faults this part fixes are battery life that drains quickly, a phone that shuts off suddenly while charge remains, or charging that seems slower than before. Before you start, switch the device off, work on a clean surface and prepare suitable small tools. Discharge the battery as far as possible if the current part allows it, and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit static electricity.
Safety precautions are important. A lithium battery must never be punctured, bent or crushed. If the current part is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid any excessive heat. After fitting, let the device charge fully, then carry out a few complete charge cycles so the battery balances and the battery indicator remains reliable.
