Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of the iPod Touch 7. It powers the device and determines how long it lasts between two charges. When it wears out, you often notice battery life dropping quickly, a device that switches off without warning, or a charge that seems never to finish.
Before you start, switch the iPod Touch 7 off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use a suitable tool to open the case without forcing it, and disconnect the battery from the logic board before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a non-conductive surface and avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface.
Once fitting is complete, carry out several full charge and discharge cycles so the battery can properly balance with the device. Check charging, the screen and the buttons before closing the case. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using a swollen battery or one that heats up abnormally.
