Description

Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small screwdriver suited to the job along with a flat tool to open the casing without forcing it. Work on a clean, dry surface at room temperature and avoid any heat source. Also discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
Once the battery is fitted, switch the device back on and check that charging starts correctly. For a new lithium battery, carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles to let the system adapt. Do not puncture or bend the battery, and never use a swollen battery: set it aside and handle it with care.
