Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a K20 Plus (2016). It powers the phone and lets it run wirelessly, within the limits of its battery life. As the battery ages, the device may shut down suddenly, lose its charge quickly, overheat while charging or fail to start. Replacing the battery fixes these faults in most cases.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver, a suction cup and a tray to store the screws. Work on a clean, flat surface at room temperature. Avoid piercing, bending or crushing the battery. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care. Disconnect the battery ribbon cable before any other step to avoid short circuits, and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface.
Once reassembly is complete, check that the phone starts correctly and that charging works normally. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the device can properly calibrate its energy level. Monitor the temperature during the first charges.
