Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn-out battery of your K8 (2017). It powers the phone and restores enough battery life for everyday use. If your device shuts off suddenly, overheats or no longer holds a charge, the battery is often the main cause.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a clean work surface. Work on a flat surface at room temperature, and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a metal surface to avoid static electricity. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend a lithium battery. If the old battery is swollen, do not reuse it.
After replacement, switch the phone back on and check that charging and the display work correctly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge cycles to optimise the battery life reading. Take the time to check the connectors before closing the device.
