Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your K9 (2018). It supplies the device with power and determines how long it runs between two charges. When the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats, this replacement restores good battery life.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a flat tool to separate the parts without forcing them. Work on a clean, dry surface and discharge any static electricity by touching a metal surface. Disconnect the battery before working on the ribbon cables and avoid bending or puncturing the cell.
Once the part is fitted, check that the phone starts and charges correctly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge cycles so the device can optimise its power management. If the battery swells or becomes very hot, stop using it immediately.
