Description
This compatible battery is designed for the KEY1 model. It replaces the worn-out battery in your device and restores enough battery life for everyday use. It is a part made by a third party, suited to the KEY1 model and offered as an economical solution for a do-it-yourself repair.
A battery that drains too quickly, overheats abnormally or no longer holds its charge is usually the cause of these symptoms. Replacing the current part fixes these common faults. Before you start, switch the device off completely, remove the back cover if necessary and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface and use suitable tools to avoid bending the connectors.
After fitting, carry out a few full charge cycles so the new battery calibrates properly. Check that the device starts, that charging works and that the battery does not overheat. If the worn battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
