Description
This compatible battery is designed for the KEY2 smartphone. It replaces the current part when it no longer holds charge, drains too quickly or switches off unexpectedly. A worn-out battery is one of the most common faults on a phone, and replacing it often restores a decent battery life without having to change the device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver, a suction cup and a flat tool to separate the parts without forcing them. Work in a clean place free of static electricity, preferably on a flat surface. To remove the old battery, gently warm the edge of the screen with a hairdryer on a moderate setting, then disconnect the battery connector before touching the ribbon cables. Do not drill into, bend or puncture the battery, and never use a swollen or damaged battery.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles so the battery can settle in properly. Then check charging, temperature and the correct operation of the screen and buttons. If the behaviour remains abnormal, stop using the phone and check the installation.

- Warm the screen moderately to make the adhesive easier to release
- Carry out a few full charge cycles after fitting
