Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Xiaomi Mi 11 when it no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats abnormally. It is used to restore battery life to your smartphone without touching the rest of the device. The faults it fixes are mainly linked to battery wear: battery life that drops quickly, sudden shutdowns at mid-charge, a phone that heats up in normal use.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean, clear surface. An electrostatic discharge can damage components, so discharge yourself by touching an earthed metal surface. Always disconnect the battery before handling the neighbouring ribbon cables.
Once reassembly is complete, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the electronics can properly calibrate the new battery. Monitor the temperature during the first charges. Do not puncture or bend the battery, and never use a swollen or deformed cell: set it aside in a safe place.
