Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of a Xiaomi Mi 5S. It supplies the energy the phone needs to operate. When it wears out, battery life drops sharply, the phone shuts down without warning or charges poorly. This replacement lets you get normal use from your device without replacing it.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small screwdriver suited to the job, along with a flat tool for prying up components. Work on a clean, flat surface, protected from static electricity. Do not puncture the battery, never bend it, and do not force the ribbon cables. Disconnect the battery before handling the connectors.
Once the new battery is fitted, check that the phone starts properly and that it charges correctly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to optimise its performance. If the battery swells or heats up abnormally, stop using it immediately.
