Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your Moto E (XT1022 / 2014). It powers the smartphone and determines how long it lasts between two charges. As the battery ages, the phone may shut down suddenly, charge poorly or no longer last the day. Replacing the part often restores a correct battery life, without changing the device.
Before you start, switch off the phone completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface, protected from static electricity. Use plastic opening tools so as not to scratch the casing. To remove the old battery, disconnect its connector first before any other step.
A lithium battery requires caution: do not puncture it, do not bend it and avoid impacts. If the worn battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it carefully. After fitting, carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles so the new part stabilises, then check start-up and charging.
