Description
This compatible battery replaces the current part of your Motorola Moto E4, model XT1763 released in 2017. It powers the smartphone and determines how long it lasts between two charges. When the current battery drains too quickly, swells or no longer holds a charge, replacing it usually restores normal use of the device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely, remove the back cover and take the time to locate the connectors carefully. Work on a clean, flat surface and use a plastic tool to disconnect the worn battery without forcing it. Avoid any impact, any pressure on the cell and any excessive heat. Static electricity can damage components: touch an earthed metal surface before handling the parts.
Once the new battery is fitted and the phone is closed again, carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles so the device can calibrate the level indicator. Then check that charging works properly and that the device does not overheat abnormally. If the battery swells at any point, stop using it and store it safely away.
