Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Moto E40, reference XT2159, released in 2021. It replaces the worn battery in your phone when it no longer holds a charge or the device switches off suddenly. A new battery generally gives more stable battery life for everyday use.
This part is made by a third party and is not original: it is presented as compatible with the model. Before fitting, switch the phone off completely, remove the back cover and disconnect the connector of the current battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and use a suitable tool so you do not damage the clips.
After replacement, switch the device back on and carry out a few full charge cycles so the battery adjusts to the electronics. Check the charge level, the temperature of the device and the condition of the screen. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
