Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of the Moto E5 (XT1944 / 2018). It powers the smartphone and stores the energy needed for its operation. When it loses capacity, the device shuts off suddenly, lasts less time on a charge or heats up while charging. The replacement restores more comfortable battery life without changing your phone.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver, a suction cup and a clean workspace. Discharge the battery as far as possible if it still works. Work on a non-conductive surface and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Once the part is fitted, connect the charger and let the phone go through a few full charge and discharge cycles. This allows the battery and the system to adapt properly. Check that the device does not overheat and that the charge indicator rises correctly.

- Swollen or deformed battery: stop using it
- Disconnect the battery before any work on the ribbon cables
- Avoid heat sources while charging
