Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of a Nokia G50. It powers the phone and determines how long it lasts between two charges. When the battery ages, the phone may switch off suddenly, drain very quickly or no longer charge properly. Replacing the battery is often the most direct way to regain a decent battery life.
Before you start, switch off the smartphone completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a suction cup to lift the screen carefully. Work on a clean, stable surface at room temperature, and avoid any heat source. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and touch an earthed metal surface to limit static electricity.
A lithium battery requires caution: do not puncture it, do not bend it and do not subject it to any impact. If it is swollen, stop using it and hand it over to a suitable recycling channel. After fitting, carry out two or three full charge and discharge cycles, then check that charging and battery life are stable.
