Description
This compatible battery is designed for the One E8. It replaces the current battery in your device when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or shuts off suddenly. A worn-out battery is one of the most common faults on a smartphone, and replacing it often restores good battery life without having to change your device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver as well as a suction cup or plastic tool to lift the screen without bending it. Work on a clean, flat surface and avoid excessive heat during the repair. If your current battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and protect yourself against static electricity by touching the components carefully.
After fitting, power on the device and carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to allow the battery to stabilise. Then check that the screen turns on normally, that charging works correctly and that the phone does not overheat.
