Description
This compatible battery is designed for the One E9 Plus. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds charge, drains too quickly or stops the device from working properly. A worn battery can cause sudden shutdowns, a phone that overheats while charging or a displayed percentage that drops abruptly.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver and a clean tray so you do not lose any screws. Work on a flat surface in a room at a moderate temperature, and discharge the battery as much as possible if you can. Static discharge can damage components: touch an earthed metal surface regularly, or use an anti-static wrist strap.
After fitting, connect the charger and let the device go through several full charge cycles before judging the real battery life. Watch the temperature: slight warmth is normal, but any excessive heat should make you stop and check your installation. Never puncture the battery, do not bend it, and if it is swollen, do not put it back into use.
