Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a One Hyper smartphone (XT2027 / 2020). It powers the device and determines its battery life: when it wears out, the phone drains quickly, may switch off without warning or refuse to start. Replacement is the most common repair to restore a proper battery life to the device.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely, remove the case and prepare a suitable small screwdriver and a clean work mat. Work on a flat surface, protected from static electricity, and handle the battery without puncturing, bending or exposing it to excessive heat. Disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables.
Once the part is fitted, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the new battery calibrates properly. If the battery swells or becomes unusually hot, stop using it immediately.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
- Carry out a few full charge cycles after fitting
- Work away from static electricity and heat
