Description
This compatible battery is designed to replace the worn battery of an HTC One M7. It powers the phone and keeps it running through the day. When a battery ages, the phone shuts off suddenly, drains very quickly or heats up while charging. Replacing the worn battery often restores a decent battery life without changing your device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver and a clean tray for the screws. Work on a flat surface free of static electricity: touch a metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and never force the connectors.
After fitting, carry out several complete charge and discharge cycles so the battery can balance properly. Monitor the temperature: moderate warmth is normal, but abnormal heating should alert you. If the battery swells, stop using it.
