Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of the Motorola One Macro, models XT2016 and XT2019. It powers the device and directly determines its battery life day to day. If your phone drains very quickly, shuts off suddenly while still showing charge, overheats abnormally or no longer lasts a day, replacing the battery is usually the most effective solution.
Before you begin, switch off the smartphone completely and unplug the charger. Prepare a small suitable screwdriver, a plastic pry tool and a clean, well-lit workspace. Work on a non-conductive surface and avoid static electricity by regularly touching a metal ground. Never puncture, bend or force the battery. If it is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
After fitting, connect the phone to a power source and let it charge fully. Carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles so that the battery indicator recalibrates correctly. Monitor the temperature during the first use and check that all components are properly seated before closing the casing.
