Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of a OnePlus 12R. It powers the phone and determines how long it runs between two charges. A worn battery often shows up as battery life that drops quickly, a phone that shuts off without warning, or one that overheats while charging. Replacing this part makes the device comfortable to use again.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use suitable tools, in particular an opening tool and precision bits, and work on a non-conductive surface. To limit the risks linked to static electricity, touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Always disconnect the battery before touching the motherboard ribbon cables.
Once assembly is finished, carry out several full charge cycles so that the battery and the power management system can adapt. Monitor the temperature during the first charges: moderate warmth is normal, excessive heat is not. Never puncture, bend or crush a lithium battery. If it is swollen, deformed or heating up abnormally, stop using it.
