Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of a OnePlus 3. It powers the phone and provides its everyday battery life. When a battery ages, the phone can drain very quickly, switch off suddenly or overheat while charging. Replacing the battery fixes these common faults and lets you get normal use of the device back.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use suitable tools and be patient, as the battery is fixed with adhesive under the screen. Disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables, and avoid contact with metal parts to limit the risk of static electricity. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and do not expose it to excessive heat.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and check that the battery is properly recognised. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to optimise its performance. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
