Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your OnePlus 5. It powers the device and determines how long it runs between two charges. When the current battery drains too quickly, overheats abnormally or no longer holds a charge, replacing it restores comfortable use.
This part is made by a third party and offered as a compatible version. Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface and use suitable tools to limit the risk of static electricity. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and do not heat it.
After fitting, check that all connectors are securely clicked into place. Carry out several full charge cycles so the device properly recognises the new battery and displays its level correctly. If the battery is swollen, do not use it.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any handling
- Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Swollen or very hot battery: stop using it
- Work on a clean surface, away from static electricity
- Carry out a few full charge cycles after fitting
