Description
This battery is a compatible part designed for the OnePlus 6. It replaces the worn battery in your smartphone, the one that no longer holds its charge or shuts down suddenly while battery life is still displayed. Before you start, switch off the phone completely and remove the case. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to avoid electrostatic discharge on the components. Keep your tools within reach and take photos of the connectors before disassembly.
The battery is a lithium cell: do not puncture it, bend it or short-circuit it. If the worn battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid excessive heat. After fitting, carry out a few full charge cycles so the gauge can recalibrate.
