This compatible battery is designed for the OnePlus 8. It replaces the smartphone's internal battery when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or no longer recharges properly. A worn battery can cause sudden shutdowns, a device that gets hot while charging or a very reduced battery life. Replacing it lets you get normal use of your device back without changing phone.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and work on a clean, clear surface. Prepare suitable tools, such as a fine screwdriver and a suction cup, and take the time to follow a step-by-step procedure. Handle the battery with care: it is lithium, so it must never be punctured, bent or short-circuited. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and do not try to remove it.
After fitting, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery adapt, then check the battery life and the temperature of the device while charging. Remember to disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and protect the components from static electricity.
