Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of your OnePlus One. It powers the phone and acts as an energy reserve when the device is not plugged in. Over time, a battery loses capacity: the phone switches off suddenly, charging becomes slow or battery life drops sharply. Replacing the current part with a new battery often restores more comfortable battery life and more stable operation.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and carefully remove the back cover. Work on a clean surface and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and use plastic tools to lift the old part without forcing it.
Once fitting is complete, charge the battery fully, then carry out several full charge and discharge cycles so it calibrates properly. Check charging and battery life over a few days. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and do not use a swollen or damaged battery.
