Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a 2017 Huawei P10. It powers the phone and lets it run without being permanently plugged into the mains. A worn battery often causes battery life to drop quickly, a phone that switches off without warning, or a device that overheats while charging. Replacing the current part fixes these faults in most cases.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small screwdriver of the right size and a flat tool to separate glued parts. Work on a clean surface free of static electricity: touch an earthed metal object before handling the components. A lithium battery must never be pierced, bent or heated strongly. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
After fitting, connect the phone and let it charge to full, then carry out two or three complete charge and discharge cycles so the battery management can settle. Then check the charge level, the temperature of the device and the battery life in everyday use.
