This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your Huawei P20 Pro (2018). It powers the phone and determines how long it runs between two charges. When the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats abnormally, replacing it restores a proper battery life.
This part is made by a third party and is a compatible part. Before fitting, switch off the phone, remove the case and prepare a suitable tool to unscrew the screws. Work on a clean, flat surface and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface. Disconnect the current part before handling the neighbouring ribbon cables.
The battery is a lithium cell: do not puncture it, do not bend it and do not apply any pressure to it. If the current part is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care. After fitting, carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles, then check the charging, the heat and the proper operation of the device.
