Description

Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Handle the components carefully and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before working. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables.
Once the new battery is fitted, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let it calibrate. Then check that the phone starts correctly, that charging is stable and that the device does not overheat. Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery, and never use a swollen battery.
