Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Huawei P9 (2016). It powers the phone and keeps it running through your daily use. As a battery ages, you often notice battery life dropping, the phone shutting off suddenly while still showing charge, or charging that is unusually slow.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and work on a clean, clear surface. Use an anti-static tool or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit static electricity. A lithium battery must never be punctured, bent or crushed. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and do not charge it. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and avoid any source of excessive heat.
Once the fitting is complete, carry out several full charge and discharge cycles so the power system learns the new battery. Then check that the displayed level matches the actual charge and monitor the temperature during the first charge.
