Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Passport. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds its charge or drains too quickly. A worn battery can cause sudden shutdowns, reduced battery life or a phone that heats up while charging. Replacing it helps restore more stable everyday use.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the power supply. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool and without forcing the connectors. As a precaution, disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid electrostatic discharge by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and do not expose it to excessive heat.
After reassembly, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery can balance properly. Then check that charging, the display and battery life work correctly. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and handle it with care.
