Description
This compatible battery replaces the current battery of your Phone 2 when it no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats. It powers the device and directly determines its day-to-day battery life. It is a third-party manufactured part, suited to the Phone 2 model.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with suitable tools. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit electrostatic discharge. Never puncture, bend or crush a lithium battery.
After fitting, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery stabilise, then check the battery life and the temperature of the device in normal use. If the battery swells or heats up strongly, stop using it immediately.
