Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Google Pixel 2. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or switches the device off unexpectedly. It is a third-party part, designed to fit the model indicated.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small screwdriver of the right size and a flat tool for separating glued components. Work on a clean surface, in a dry place and at a moderate temperature. Always disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself on a metal surface first.
Once the part is installed, carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles to allow the battery to balance. Then check the battery life, the stability of the display and the temperature of the device while charging. A swollen battery, one that overheats abnormally or one that is deformed must be set aside immediately.
