Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Google Pixel 3. It replaces the current part when it no longer holds charge, drains too quickly or causes unexpected shutdowns of the device. A worn battery can also make the phone heat up while charging, which is why replacing it promptly is worthwhile.
Before fitting, switch the smartphone off completely and unplug the charger. Prepare a small suitable screwdriver, suction cups or a plastic opening tool to open the casing without scratching it, along with a clean, well-lit work surface. Once the part is installed, carry out a few full charge cycles before judging battery life, so that the battery adapts to the device.
Take a few precautions: do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and avoid impacts. If it is swollen or deformed, stop using it. Work at room temperature, without excessive heat, and discharge static electricity before touching components. Always disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and unplug the charger before any work
- Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Battery swollen or deformed: stop using it
- Carry out several full charge cycles after fitting
