Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Google Pixel 4a. It replaces your phone's battery when it no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats. A worn-out battery is one of the most common faults on this model, and replacing it restores battery life closer to everyday use.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver, a suction cup or a plastic opening tool, along with a clean, well-lit workspace. Warm the edge of the frame lightly with a hairdryer on a moderate setting to soften the adhesive. Always disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables, and avoid static electricity by working on a non-conductive surface.
Once the new battery is installed, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the electronics can recalibrate the indicators. Then check that the phone starts up properly, that charging works and that the temperature stays normal during ordinary use. A swollen or overheating battery must never be used, pierced or bent.
