Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Google Pixel 5 when it no longer holds its charge, shuts off suddenly or overheats. It powers the smartphone and keeps it running through the day. It is a third-party part, designed to fit the Pixel 5.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Prepare a small suitable screwdriver, suction cups and a clean work surface. Work in a dry place at a moderate temperature, and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. A lithium battery must never be punctured, bent or heated: if the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
After replacement, switch the device back on and check that charging starts properly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to optimise its performance, then monitor battery life and the device's temperature over a few days.

- Switch off the Pixel 5 and unplug the charger before any work
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- If the current battery is swollen, stop using it
- Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables
- Carry out a few charge cycles after fitting
