Description
This battery is a compatible replacement part for the Google Pixel 8. It is used to replace the internal battery when it no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly while battery life is still displayed, overheats abnormally or drains far too quickly. Replacing the battery often restores a correct battery life without changing your phone.
Before you start, switch off the device completely and prepare a clean, well-lit and dry workspace. Use a suitable tool to open the casing and remove the screws, then disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not puncture, bend or crush the lithium battery.
After fitting, connect the device and carry out several full charge and discharge cycles so that the battery calibrates. Check that the phone starts, that charging is stable and that the device does not overheat abnormally. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and store it safely.
