Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Google Pixel 8a. It replaces the current part when the phone's battery life drops noticeably or the device shuts down suddenly while charge remains. It powers the whole smartphone, which is why a worn battery often causes unexpected shutdowns or a charge that seems never to finish.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, and use a suitable tool along with an anti-static wrist strap if you have one. Never puncture the battery, bend it or heat it. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care. Disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables.
After fitting, check that the battery is firmly secured and that the phone starts normally. Carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery stabilise, then check battery life and temperature during use.
