Description
This battery powers the Google Pixel 8a and is used to replace a worn-out battery. It is an original manufacturer part, or an official “Service Pack” part. It resolves faults linked to a battery that drains too quickly, switches off without warning or overheats abnormally. According to the product sheet, performance and battery life are identical to new.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, in a moderately warm place, and avoid static electricity: an anti-static wrist strap is recommended. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and protect it from knocks.
After replacement, carry out a few full charge cycles so the battery level indicator recalibrates. Then check charging, the temperature of the device and the battery level display. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not attempt to repair it.
