Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, dry, well-lit workspace. Use a plastic tool and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend it.
After installation, check that the screen switches on, that charging starts and that the temperature stays moderate. Carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery adapt. If the battery swells, do not use it: set it aside in a safe place.
