Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Google Pixel 9a. It replaces the current battery in your phone when it no longer holds its charge, shuts off suddenly or overheats. A worn battery is one of the most common faults on a smartphone, and replacing it often restores a good battery life without changing your device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver, a suction cup and a flat tool to separate the glued parts. Work on a clean, stable surface in a temperate place, and avoid any heat source. Discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables to avoid a short circuit.
Once the battery is replaced, switch the phone back on and check that charging works normally. For a new battery, it is advisable to carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles to optimise its performance. Never puncture a lithium battery, do not bend it, and do not use a swollen battery: set it aside in a safe place.
