Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of a Google Pixel XL. It powers the phone and restores enough everyday battery life when the current cell no longer holds its charge. A worn battery often shows up as sudden shutdowns, a rapid drop in percentage, or a phone that heats up while charging.
Before replacing it, power off the smartphone completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver and a clean, well-lit workspace. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not pierce or bend the battery, and do not heat it excessively. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
After fitting, run a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery can adjust properly. Then check the charge level, temperature and stability of the device during use.
