Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Prestige 2 (2017). It powers the device when it is unplugged and keeps it running through daily use. When a battery ages, you often notice battery life dropping quickly, a device switching off without warning, or charging taking longer and longer. Replacing the battery helps restore more stable use.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Prepare a small screwdriver of the right size and a clean surface to keep the screws in. Work on a flat surface free of static electricity; an anti-static wrist strap is recommended. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and never force the connectors.
Once the part is fitted, run a few full charge cycles before judging battery life. Check that the device starts up properly and that charging works normally. Never puncture or bend the battery. If it looks swollen or deformed, stop using it.
