Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Q7 (2018). It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or no longer starts the device reliably. A worn battery can also cause sudden shutdowns or unusual overheating while charging. Replacing it restores a proper battery life without changing the device.
Before you begin, switch the Q7 off completely and gather a small suitable screwdriver, a suction cup and a little patience. Work on a clean, well-lit surface and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal part before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. The battery contains lithium: do not puncture it, bend it or expose it to excessive heat. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it.
Once the assembly is finished, carry out a few complete charge cycles so the battery stabilises, then check the charging, the battery life and the absence of unusual heating. If any unusual behaviour appears, switch the device off and go through the checks again step by step.
