Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Xiaomi Redmi 12. It provides the power the phone needs to operate. When it wears out, the smartphone may drain very quickly, switch off without warning, overheat while charging or fail to start. Replacing the battery fixes these common faults and usually restores a decent battery life.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver, a suction cup and some patience. Work on a clean, flat surface at room temperature, away from any heat source. Discharge static electricity from your fingers by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Once the new battery is fitted, switch the device back on and check that charging, the display and battery life work normally. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the system adapt. Never puncture the battery, bend it or try to open it. If it is swollen or damaged, stop using it.
