Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Redmi 12C. It replaces the battery of a Redmi 12C smartphone whose battery life has dropped or which no longer holds a charge. A worn battery can cause sudden shutdowns, a phone that overheats while charging, or a charge that no longer lasts.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a small suitable screwdriver and, if possible, an anti-static wrist strap to avoid electrostatic discharges that can damage components. Disconnect the battery from the motherboard before removing the neighbouring ribbon cables. Never puncture, bend or short-circuit the battery.
Once the battery is installed, switch the phone back on and check that the charge level displays correctly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the battery level indicator regains a reliable reading. If the new battery swells, overheats abnormally or gives off a smell, stop using it immediately.
