Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Redmi 5 when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or no longer powers on the phone. It supplies the device with energy and restores battery life that is usable day to day. It is made by a third party and designed to fit the Redmi 5 model.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with suitable tools. Work on a non-conductive surface and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Remove the battery carefully, without forcing the ribbon cables, and disconnect the connector before any other handling.
Once the battery is installed, switch the device back on and check that charging works. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to optimise battery life. Do not puncture, bend or expose the battery to excessive heat. If the battery appears swollen, stop using it.
