Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Redmi 6A. It replaces the current part when the phone's battery life drops or the device shuts off suddenly while there is still charge left. It powers the smartphone and ensures the device works day to day.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a flat tool to open the casing without scratching it. Work on a clean, dry surface and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables to avoid any short circuit.
A lithium battery requires care. Do not puncture it, bend it or overheat it. If the current part is swollen, stop using it and handle it carefully. After fitting, carry out a few full charge cycles so the battery stabilises, then check that the device works properly.
