Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Xiaomi Redmi 9. It powers the phone and keeps it running through the day. When the battery ages, the phone may shut off suddenly, charge poorly or overheat; replacing it can give the device a proper battery life again.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Work on a non-conductive surface and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables.
Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and do not expose it to strong heat. A swollen battery must no longer be used. After fitting, carry out several full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery adapt, then check the battery life and the temperature of the device.
